Wedding Season Lookbook

Indian weddings. A one week build up full of different ceremonies, rituals, great food and heaps of dress changes. Side note - WE STOLE THE SHOES!!

Wedding Look Bright colours for the bright event. Netting fabric was a fav this wedding paired with statement pieces of jewellery. You might recognise my sister wearing my Miss India Worldwide NZ lehnga (sister benefits) and my clothes are borrowed from my beautiful cousin sister so unfortunately don't know where its from. My jhumkas are back, check out the last time I wore them here.

Mehndi    First time in ages I didn't have any designs as reference and was put on the spot to do henna on the hands of many unknown guests so literally did the same one for everyone. Love how it turned out, hadn't done flower inspired patterns for a while. If you'd like to get your henna done for any occasion then let me know :)

Haldi Diwali look recycled for haldi ceremony. Absolutely in love with the multi-strand jhumkas or what shop owners like to call them, Bahubali earrings? For the day ceremony was wearing yellow (compulsory haldi colour), but deep green for night.

Tilak A more simpler occasion and a raise from the dead of the straight kameez. Headpiece is actually an anklet and earrings are from Colette (really into mixing indian and western things).
